Functional Tester (QA) - Associate <> PWC

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring our software solutions meet rigorous regulatory and functional standards. You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly influence the quality and reliability of critical client systems.

Key Deliverables

• Analyze User Stories to identify functional gaps and define comprehensive test scenarios covering happy paths, edge cases, and error workflows.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to align testing strategies with technical specifications and non-functional requirements.
• Lead test-set peer reviews and execute rigorous test runs to ensure software stability and performance.
• Author Agile test plans and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure testing depth aligns with project complexity.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Monitor data patterns to identify potential risks and support the implementation of robust compliance frameworks.
• Participate in client engagements to provide actionable insights on governance and quality assurance standards.

Essential Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2-4 years of professional experience in functional testing or quality assurance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies and test management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks and the ability to advocate for quality best practices.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile application testing, specifically within iOS environments.
• Prior exposure to cybersecurity risk management or financial crime prevention frameworks.
• Familiarity with XRAY or similar advanced test management plugins.
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
