Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Custom Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will design, build, and configure applications aligned with business process requirements to meet business needs by using your technical and analytical skills.This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for developing custom solutions, especially who are proficient in Microsoft ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and Javascript. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will contribute to various projects spanning across the organisation.

Key Deliverables

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document application requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions using Microsoft ASP.NET and other relevant technologies.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables and optimal performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices by researching and recommending process enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for custom applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Microsoft ASP.NET.
• Minimum of 15 years full time education required.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex software development tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft ASP.NET (3+ years of experience). Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development, and familiarity with database management systems (SQL).
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of web application development principles and best practices.
• Behavioral & Interpersonal: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders; proactive participation in team discussions; ability to work independently and contribute solutions.
• Process & SOP: Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies; familiarity with version control systems for code management.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze requirements, solve work-related problems, and provide effective solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Technical: Experience with advanced front-end frameworks or libraries, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies or Agile methodologies.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with other teams such as QA, UI/UX, or DevOps to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Leadership Traits: Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Additional Information

• Initial probation period of 3 months.
• Core working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options available.
• Standard operating procedures for reporting hierarchy, communication channels, and tool onboarding will be provided during the onboarding process.
• This position is based at our Gurgaon office and follows a hybrid work model, with a mix of on-site and remote work.
• Candidates must comply with all statutory and compliance notes per Indian labour law.
