Job Title: DevOps Engineer L4 - Full Time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer L4 to join our team. This role focuses on streamlining and automating the integration and deployment processes within application teams, ensuring efficient coordination between operations, development, and testing. The ideal candidate will drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support the entire application lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure and DevOps tool capabilities.

Key Deliverables

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines that support rapid and reliable software releases.
• Onboard applications onto the DevOps toolchain, configuring tools to meet client-specific needs and ensuring seamless integration.
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure in alignment with software code requirements, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to produce necessary coding and scripting that connects application code with operating systems and production infrastructure.
• Implement and leverage automation tools for testing and deployment within a DevOps environment to reduce manual efforts and errors.
• Provide exceptional customer support for DevOps tools, resolving tickets within specified TAT and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for critical and repeatable issues, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role, demonstrating a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure management and its alignment with software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
• Experience in creating user access workflows and managing user access in compliance with defined processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of DevOps tools, including containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their respective DevOps services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Certifications related to DevOps practices (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience in mentoring junior team members and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Technical: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby; Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (5+ years hands-on).
• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and best practices; Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
• Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams; Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Process & SOP: Experience creating and maintaining SOP documentation for DevOps processes; Ability to ensure audit-ready compliance.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement and automation; Data-driven decision-making skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Technical: Experience with advanced automation tools and technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef); Familiarity with machine learning and AI for operational improvements.
• Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with sales, marketing, and product teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals.
• Leadership Traits: Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members; Demonstrated experience in change management and driving DevOps adoption across the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean/Kaizen methodologies and Six Sigma principles for process optimization.

• This position follows a hybrid work model based out of Pune, Maharashtra.
