Developer II - Software Engineering <> UST

This entry-level Software Engineer role is designed for fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and a passion for building technology-driven solutions. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications, working within a team to deliver high-quality, scalable products. Key Deliverables

• Develop and implement software components and features according to design specifications and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
• Debug and resolve software defects, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical designs, processes, and operational procedures.
• Actively learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance development capabilities.

Essential Requirements

• Recent graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or around 1 year of industrial experience.
• Hands-on academic, internship, or project experience in one or more of the following: Java, ReactJS + NodeJS, or Python.
• Strong understanding of core programming concepts, data structures, and basic system design.
• Experience using IDEs, version control (Git), and basic development tools.
• Ability to clearly explain projects, design choices, and technical decisions made.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with RESTful API development and asynchronous programming.
• Exposure to frameworks like Spring Boot or Express.js.
• Demonstrated strong learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
