Technical Lead <> Birlasoft

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to spearhead our Azure-based initiatives and drive complex data and integration projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural design and hands-on technical execution, ensuring our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-native applications while maintaining technical excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Deliverables

• Design and document comprehensive HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, and prototypes to guide development and stakeholder decision-making.
• Develop complex SQL stored procedures and data mapping documents to ensure seamless data integration and integrity.
• Manage Azure DevOps artifacts and pipelines to streamline deployment processes and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Lead and mentor onsite and offshore development teams, fostering a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to address integration challenges and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee production releases, feature management, and operational support to maintain high system availability and performance.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to drive project velocity and transparency.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of total professional experience in software development and technical leadership.
• Proven expertise in Azure cloud services, specifically with Azure APIM and API management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and the design of complex database schemas.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Azure DevOps environments and CI/CD workflows.
• Solid background in solution, application, or technical architecture for large-scale enterprise projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning integration within Azure ecosystems.
• Deep familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and project management tools.
• Prior experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Proven track record of managing the full SDLC from initial inception through to production support.
