Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to nurture and expand our relationships with strategic partners in the fintech and NBFC sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, driving revenue growth through effective relationship management, and ensuring seamless integration of our lending solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of lending processes, technology integrations, and the ability to work cross-functionally to meet client needs.

Key Deliverables

• Manage and expand relationships with existing key accounts in the fintech and NBFC space, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Drive revenue growth within assigned accounts by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our lending solutions.
• Oversee the successful integration of our technology platform with partner systems, ensuring smooth data flows and optimal performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and advocating for their needs within the organization.
• Develop and execute account management plans, outlining strategies for achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and fostering long-term partnerships, presenting progress updates to executive stakeholders quarterly.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded, reporting on performance metrics monthly.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within the fintech or NBFC sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key accounts, exceeding revenue targets, and building strong client relationships.
• Strong understanding of lending processes, technology integrations, and API-driven data flows.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SaaS-based lending platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Indian lending market.
• Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Technical: Experience with API integrations, understanding of data structures and flows, and familiarity with SaaS platforms.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the fintech and NBFC sectors, including lending products, regulations, and market trends.
• Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Process & SOP: Experience developing and implementing account management processes and SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to address client needs and challenges.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Technical: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analytics tools.
• Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications in sales, account management, or fintech.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and deliver value to clients.
• Leadership Traits: Ability to mentor and coach junior account managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.

Additional Information

• Initial probation period of 3 months, with performance reviews conducted regularly.
• Standard working hours, with potential for flexible scheduling based on business needs.
• Regular travel may be required to visit key accounts and attend industry events.
• Reporting hierarchy: Reports directly to the Head of Key Accounts.
• Standard onboarding process will include training on our lending platform, company policies, and account management best practices.
• Compliance with all applicable Indian labor laws and regulations is mandatory.
