Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize all operational aspects of our organization. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will be responsible for driving operational efficiencies, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution across various departments. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and process innovation.

Key Deliverables

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance across the organization.
• Oversee supply chain management, ensuring timely procurement, efficient logistics, and effective vendor relationships.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive process innovation by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to streamline operations.
• Manage manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the CEO and senior management team on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on supply chain, manufacturing, and vendor management.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP and other relevant enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in process innovation and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with vendor negotiations and contract management.

Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Technical: SAP proficiency (implementation, configuration, and user management), project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Domain Knowledge: Supply chain management best practices, manufacturing processes, vendor management strategies, quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management.
• Process & SOP: Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and auditing.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, process optimization, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Technical: Advanced data analysis techniques, automation skills (e.g., RPA), and experience with advanced planning systems (APS).
• Additional Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification, project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align operational strategies with business goals.
• Leadership Traits: Mentoring, team-building, change management, and strategic thinking.
• Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean/Kaizen methodologies and Six Sigma principles.

Additional Information

• Probation period: 6 months, performance will be reviewed to confirm permanent employment.
• Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexible scheduling may be available based on performance and business needs.
• Reporting hierarchy: Reports directly to the CEO. Regular communication through meetings, emails, and company-wide communication channels.
• Statutory compliance: Adherence to all relevant Indian labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to PF, ESI, and gratuity.
