Senior Java Software Engineer (Immediate Joiners only) <> SAP

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable software solutions within our technology landscape. This role is pivotal in building high-performance microservices and contributing to the architectural evolution of our platforms, directly impacting our product capabilities and engineering excellence.

Key Deliverables

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical designs, promoting best practices in software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, deliver features, and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and observability of applications through effective logging, tracing, and monitoring strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Essential Requirements

• 7 to 12 years of experience in Java software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture with high cohesion and loose coupling.
• Expertise in security, transactions, idempotency, logging, tracing, caching, monitoring, and containerization.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and Design Patterns.
• Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases, SQL queries, and message brokers like Kafka.
• Demonstrated experience with REST API development and consumption.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito/PowerMock), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and version control (Git).
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving a notice period are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to cloud development and deployment platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good knowledge of Java fundamentals including Collections, Generics, Multithreading, JVM, and Exception Handling.
