Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level position focused on ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced development environment.

Key Deliverables

• Execute test plans and test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Document and track software defects using a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise information for developers.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve identified issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
• Understanding of automation testing tools, Selenium and C#.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Bangalore.

• Experience in using Test Management Tools

Must-Have Skills

• Technical: Experience with Selenium and C#.
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate defects and issues.
• Process & SOP: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes. Knowledge of Version Control systems (e.g., Git).
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of defects.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Technical: Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Additional Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with developers and product owners.
• Leadership Traits: Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Additional Information

• Probation period is typically 3 months, contingent on performance.
• Standard onsite working hours, with potential for flexible scheduling based on team needs.
• Reports to the QA Lead or Manager. Standard communication channels include email, Slack, and Jira.
