Join our Global Retail Systems Development team to innovate competitive monitoring solutions. This role focuses on creating effective distributed systems, data mining applications, and scalable web solutions that drive critical retail insights. You will contribute to Amazon's future by developing efficient monitoring systems and collaborating with global teams.

Key DeliverablesDesign and implement scalable distributed systems and data mining applications for competitive monitoring.
Develop efficient solutions for competitive data collection, processing, and analysis.
Create intuitive APIs and accessible user interfaces to enhance competitive analysis capabilities.
Build resilient crawling systems and implement robust data processing pipelines.
Develop analytical tools that support informed decision-making within Amazon's retail operations.
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of all developed solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations to deliver adaptable solutions.

Essential Requirements3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Proficiency in developing and testing APIs.
Demonstrated ability to solve technical challenges in data processing and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with modern technologies impacting retail decisions.
