Frontend Engineer

Role Description:

As a Frontend Next.js Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize user-facing platforms powering next-generation EdTech solutions. This role blends hands-on frontend engineering with a modern stack, enabling seamless, accessible, and high-performing web products that scale for diverse, global users. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver visually compelling, reliable solutions and streamline integration with APIs and modern cloud services. You’ll champion UI/UX excellence, support efficient build and deployment flows, and help evolve our engineering practices in a remote/hybrid environment based on ownership, learning, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance frontend platforms using Next.js, React, and modern UI practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers for integrating APIs and data sources.
• Optimize web application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and continuous improvement of frontend architecture.
• Implement cloud operations, CI/CD, and system monitoring.
• Contribute to robust documentation, onboarding flows, and deployment automation.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ year of non-internship professional frontend development experience, or strong internship/project background
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines, state management, and best practices for code quality.
• Solid problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and deployment workflows
• Experience developing and integrating with RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), performance/cost optimization, and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, or analytics tools.
• Hands-on collaboration with backend and DevOps teams in cloud-native environments.
